GROMAG is a system of modular lamps, tiltable and composable, for tubes containing one or two LED strips or conventional LED tubes. This concept of lamp will allow you to make unique your light source.

Detail of the structure

The system is composed by chain links, with two or three holes to accommodate tubes and a series of small holes all around the primary holes. These have the purpose of adjusting the inclination of the various components and accommodating a safety interlock in the case of commercial LED tubes, they also to provide the hook point for hanging.

The material with which the chain links are built is transparent polycarbonate, which ensures a high mechanical strength and a high level of safety.

We decided to design three different types of chain links, all three with two different internal diameters, 20mm and 30mm, to accommodate tubes of different types, supported by two adapters to accommodate commercial LED tubes with the connection type T8 – T5 and similar.

The chain links can be joined to form a lamp system with variable angles as well as variable lengths and widths.

With these features, the lamp can have a wide variety of shapes, it will be definable in length, width, intensity and color of light source of each individual element. For advanced systems we have arranged for the use of programmable LED 5050 – 2812 or similar, with which it will be possible to define a fixed or variable luminous matrix in order to have a unique form as well as a unique light source.

A brief explanation of what is the concept last stretch goals, the Dmatrix.

What we want is a light that comes from a dynamic and colourful matrix. To do this we decided to extract the outline from the solar spectrum. After this we are going to apply a 3d golden spiral, rotating the spiral by 360 degrees, with a step from 1 to 3.14 degree. Noting the generated interference we will be able to isolate a basic code.
